Huddle in-person workshops are designed to foster community for preteen and teen girls.

Welcome to Huddle!

At Huddle, our mission is to create a safe and empowering space where adolescent girls ages 11-16 can build lasting relationships, develop communication skills, and cultivate the confidence needed to navigate life's challenges. Our small group workshops meet in-person, so girls have face time together rather than FaceTime.

Why Huddle?

As community organizers, we were inspired to start Huddle after noticing the uptick in teen loneliness and anxiety following COVID. And understandably - teens spend less time together than ever with the rise of technology and the decline of community centers, yet friendships and relationships buoy a teen’s sense of value, belonging, and confidence.

Huddle’s small, in-person workshops provide an opportunity for girls to build community at an age when friendships and relationships can support their long term cognition, mental health and academic performance.

Huddle targets teens and tweens top-most concerns through facilitated discussion: relationships, social media influence, wellness, healthy bodies, and self development. Workshop series will also include fun, hands-on labs and guest talks.

“I don’t have any other space in my life like Huddle, but I liked that even in our first session, we were comfortable enough to share and be open with each other.”
