How do I sign up for a workshop series?

Do I have to sign up for the entire series, or can I just do one?

Each workshop series is part of a whole guided learning experience within a community setting. Forming a community needs time and commitment. Participants are required to attend the entire workshop series to gain the most benefit.

What if I miss a workshop in a series?

Unfortunately, there is no way to make up a missed workshop because (1) each session is unique to the series as a whole and cannot be replicated, and (2) since the group meets together, we do not offer one-on-one workshops.

Will I get a refund for missed workshops?

We do not offer refunds for missed workshop sessions.

What happens if I discontinue the workshop series?

We will refund any unused portion of the workshop series on a case-by-case basis.

Where do these workshops take place?

Currently, these workshops take place in a private residence.

Can I attend these workshops online?

We are unable to offer online workshops as the main purpose of the workshop gatherings is to build and sustain community.

Will there be facilitators at every workshop?

Each workshop will be guided by a facilitator or specialist.

What are the age requirements for each workshop series?

We offer three workshops based on ages 11-12, 13-14, and 15-16.

Can I attend these workshops with my child?

These workshop discussions are intended as a space for adolescent girls to share, discuss and converse freely without parent presence.

Are these workshop discussions confidential?

We require all participants to sign a confidentiality agreement before attending the first workshop.

As a parent, will I have access to what is discussed in the workshops?

These workshop sessions are not recorded, nor will facilitators disclose confidential information discussed in the workshops.

How can my child remain connected to other workshop participants after the series ends?

We encourage participants to exchange contact information as well as continue on to take next-level workshops as a group. We will also have a casual get-together in-between workshops to maintain connection.

What is the fee for a workshop series?

The workshops vary between $500 - $750 per series.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Zelle, Venmo, and checks.

Are these workshops only for girls?

Currently, these workshops are for adolescent girls from ages 11 to 16. We will also form workshops for adolescent boys and non-binary teens in the near future.

These workshops don’t work with our schedule. Is there a different time I can attend?

Workshops are meant to be attended as a group. We have outlined specific meet-up times per month, but are open to scheduling workshops that work best for everyone. Keep in mind that although we strive to ensure that everyone can make these workshops, we cannot guarantee that our schedule will work for every participant.

Are these workshops covered by insurance?

Since these workshops are not therapy, our series is not covered by insurance.
